Helisking on the Susten instead of a driving over the pass. In comfort by helicopter from Schattenhalb/Meiringen via Gadmertal to the Gwächtenhorn/Sustenlimm, where you'll find a mountain world with marvellous slopes for great deep-snow downhill runs.
Helicopter flight
Swiss Helicopter takes us from Schattenhalb or Nessental via Gadmertal, past the Giglistock towards Sustenlimmi to the landing site in the middle of the Sustenhorn and Gwächtenhorn glacier world. The helicopter flight is already the first highlight of the day.
Ski route
From Sustenlimmi past glacial ice avalanches and rock faces down to Steinsee lake past the heli landing site at Hotel Steingletscher. Those who haven't had enough of the superb snow slopes can take a quick flight back up at any time.

RequirementsGood skier (curve technique) / snowboarder (gliding) no Alpine experience needed
EquipmentNormal skiing equipment, warm, windproof and waterproof clothing, small rucksack with snack, sunglasses, sun block and lip cream. Snowboarders additionally: 1 ski pole (preferably telescopic)

- Flat rate for 1 to 4 passengers
- Included in the price: accompaniment by licensed mountain guide, all costs of guide, helicopter flight costs and VAT
- Not included are transport costs to the take-off point and return trip (approx. CHF 50.00)
- Further equipment required but not included: avalanche transceiver (LVS), avalanche probe, climbing harness, ski poles (snowboarder) – if this equipment is not brought personally it can be supplied on the spot by the mountain guide; CHF 10 LVS and CHF 5 each for other equipment.
