Among the objectives of the Swiss Helicopter flight school, one of the most important is to successfully train pilots to obtain a commercial license and then accompany them further on their training path. Switching from a single-engine to a twin-engine helicopter is an important stage, which requires several hours of flight, skill and experience.
Since February 2021, Igor Sancassani, pilot and manager of the Gordola base, is taking care of the training on the twin-engine AW109 (E/S/SP) for Swiss Helicopter. Our southernmost base in Switzerland is specialized in offering twin-engine flight services with the AW109, in particular for VIP taxi flights and business trips in Southern Italy. Such requests also come from owners of twin-engine helicopters who choose the Ticino base to hangar their helicopters, making use of the maintenance services of Swiss Helicopter Maintenance Gordola.
