Eliticino-Tarmac SA and the Swiss Helicopter AG Gordola branch have been working together successfully since 2006. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of this strategic partnership, Eliticino-Tarmac SA will be integrated into the Swiss Helicopter AG as of 1 July 2021. The significantly strengthened “Swiss Helicopter Region Ticino" together with its sister regions "Ostschweiz”, “Zentralschweiz", "Berner Oberland" and "Bern/Westschweiz" forms the Swiss Helicopter AG.

Based on the Federal Council regulation of March 16th 2020, Swiss Helicopter will no longer operate passenger flights, training flights, check flights and rental flights from all bases. Likewise, there are currently no theoretical courses in class lessons. However, distance learning is possible. These measures are expected to apply until Sunday, April 19th 2020.

Hangar capacity for helicopters in Gordola

Our operation base in Gordola has hangar capacity for A109/AW139/AW169 or Dauphin class helicopters. The location at the civil airport of Locarno, which also has customs service, in the vicinity of Lugano and Milan, is ideal for demanding customers who operate in central Europe and who desire an accurate and customized service. We have meeting and briefing rooms available, as well as offices, storage space and car parking.
